Málaga Airport is modern and clean. The check-in
counter is o.k. and passengers who already have
a ticket can arrive here one hour before the start.
The important and booked-up flights allow it also
to arrive only 45 minutes before the start. So the
queue is not so long.
Everthing
can simple be overviewed and everything is built
logical. One hint for the passengers to Málaga:
You should have 100 Pesetas in your pocket for the
luggage van. Possible to use other currency, but
we were not successful in it.

The
airport takes the lots of passengers until know.
But in the future it will have not enough capacity,
so the extension of the airport is already  planned.
The Costa del Sol is a preferred destination.
If
you want to rent a car, you can do it directly
at the airport by one of the lots of Rent-a-Car
companies. So you save the money for a taxi. If
you fly with a tour operator then better to book
the hired car in your country. That is cheaper
and in Spain it will take no long time to get
your car. The lessor will pick you up from th e
exit of the passenger´s arrival and drives
you to your car. More tips for rentals, laws and
fines of the road traffic you will find under
warnings. And if you start then with your car
be quiet and forget the mad rush. In Spain you
must have time and you also cannot change this
behaviour. Do not lose control if someone in the
car before stops and has a chat with another person.
By the way: In and around the airport there are
also restaurants and shops.
